Large authentic Paleo Dalton Point from the Flint River Valley of North Alabama, bifacially made on a large core blade in the Paleo manner. Found on an early Dalton site with other similar points out of the same Bangor Chert material. 4 1/2" Long, featuring fine serrated edge flaking, a ground base with fluting. Has age wear and patination with deposits. No damage ancient or modern. An excellent example of a large authentic Southern Dalton.
