The toe is markedBeacher & Addis, New Havenand the former owner name B.W. Butler.This massive jointer plane measures 28\" L x 3-1/4\" W x 2-3/4\" H. The body has minor wear as expected for its age. The wedge is original and fits tightly. The tote has some wear marks off the tip. The heavy duty cutter is marked BUTCHER WARRANTED. The chip bre4aker is marked: W. Butcher Sheffield.It measures 6-7/8\" L x 2-3/4\" W. It has pitting & rusted, just needs to be cleaned & sharpened. The cutter & chip breaker alone weigh 1lb.The plane has only been wiped down with Old English. It maintains a great feel and a century old patina. IT WEIGHS 8.2LBS UNBOXED.
