First Aid Ice Pack or Hot Pack Vintage Tetra Co 1960s Car Road Trips Niles, IL For Sale

Seeing that Zip codes were introduced in the summer of 1963, these had to be made after that. New Old Stock, never used.Measures 5\" wide x 15.5\" long. Since they take up so little space they would have been great to keep in the car for camping, playing sports or road trips. These could be kept in a freezer or placed into boiling water. Microwave ovens for the kitchen countertop were coming into use. However there may be metal wire in the bendable closure so not advised. I didn\'t see any other ones online. These belong in a museum. Modern ones are designed to turn hot or cold by smashing them.
