Fostoria American Clear Glass 4 3/4\" 5 oz Footed Tumblers Set of 8 2056 88 For Sale

Acquire a complete set of vintage American tableware with this matching set of 8 Fostoria Glass Company American pattern 5-ounce footed tumblers (Line No. 2056 / Item 88). Produced in Moundsville, West Virginia between 1934 and 1982, this elegant short-stemmed drinkware is one of the most versatile and collectible stemware shapes in the American line.

While often classified as water goblets due to their pedestal design, Fostoria officially cataloged this piece as a \"Footed Tumbler,\" distinguished specifically by its compact, sturdy short stem. Standing approximately 4 3/4 inches tall with a 5-fluid-ounce capacity, each glass features a barrel-shaped body molded with Fostoria\'s three-dimensional cube facets that taper into a solid round foot, finished with a smooth, gently flared drinking rim.

This vintage Fostoria elegant glass footed tumbler set features:

• Iconic 3D Cube Pattern: Fostoria\'s signature geometric block motif that catches and refracts light brilliantly across every facet.

• Classic Footed Tumbler Silhouette: Features a stout pedestal base and low stem, providing superior tip-resistant balance at the table.

• Flared Drinking Lip: Smooth, gently outcurved rim engineered for a refined drinking experience.

• Versatile 5 oz. Capacity: Sized perfectly for serving morning fruit juice, breakfast juices, iced tea, parfaits, dessert wines, sherry, port, or specialty cocktails.

• Complete Service for 8: Matching 8-piece glassware service ready for immediate holiday entertaining, brunch, or dinner table service.
