A newly created lobby-card-style framed print inspired by The Fly (1958), featuring David Hedison as Andre Delambre at the moment of transformation.
Unlike original 1950s theatrical lobby cards, which avoided revealing the creature too directly, this display focuses on the tragic turning point of the film. Actor-forward and emotionally charged, the image preserves the weight of Hedison’s performance while evoking the look and presence of a studio-issued lobby display.
This piece is created from film reference using period-appropriate color balance and a newly reconstructed lobby-card-style frame. The result is a display-first collectible designed to feel authentic to the era while offering greater visual impact than vintage originals.
IMPORTANT SIZE NOTE
Original 1950s lobby cards were typically smaller and narrower than modern display formats. This lobby-card-style framed print is intentionally produced at a larger size to better showcase dramatic composition and detail while preserving authentic lobby-card proportions and presentation.
