Ellensburg Blue written by John P. Thomson is the only book ever written about the very valuable and rare agate, Ellensburg Blue. A must have for any collector or connoisseur of this amazing gem. This mint condition book(booklet)was written in1961 -22 pages - soft cover- 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches - Black & white pictures, and while is does contain a map of the general area, it does NOT specify where to find Ellensburg Blue agates. (Sorry no treasure map!)
What you see is what you get -no filters, no color enhancement, no digital tricks. Just the agate’s true colors, exactly as it is.
NOTE: As of September 23, 2026, is flooded with agates falsely labeled and marketed as Ellensburg Blue. Buyers beware.(a lot of what is currently being saleed is Blue Lace agate - sold as Ellensburg Blue agate - in addition, many pictures are being color enhanced)
