Garrett's Snuff Advertising Notebook 1915 American Snuff Co Memphis Tobacco.
You've probably heard of Levi Garrett chewing tobacco. American Snuff was the company that led to Levi Garrett. John Garrett started a snuff company in 1792. In 1795 John's son Levi took over, and changed the company name to Levi Garrett and Sons. In @912, with three generations of Garrett's working for the company, it had its fourth name change- American Snuff Company. In 1912 they moved the headquarters to Memphis, working out of the factory on the back of this notebook.
In good condition. There is a lot of dirt on both covers, and light wear at the corners. The first nine pages have a lot of numbers written on them, followed by six blank pages. There are four pages of the tobacco propaganda seen in the fourth photo, then fourteen more blank pages. The second set of blank pages have several small dirt spots scattered across them.
