General Albert N. Stubblebine III signed 6x7 Annual Mid-Year Commissioning Ceremony program. The signature is in black ink and is in excellent condition; please be aware the pencil notes above the signature which reads \"B/Gen\" were made by a prior owner and are not an inscription from Stubblebine III. The program is in good condition; there is discoloration to the program, some light scattered creases are present, the program is a single page which has text on both sides of the interior and on the reverse, no additional pages are included and due to the lack of spine damage/staple holes we are considering this a full program, even though it is one page. We have not been able to find any evidence there were ever additional pages included.
Albert N. Stubblebine III was a United States Army major general best known for his leadership in military intelligence during the Cold War. He served as Commanding General of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) from 1981 to 1984, overseeing intelligence collection, analysis, and security operations worldwide. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Stubblebine held numerous command and staff positions throughout a military career that spanned more than three decades. He was involved in advancing intelligence capabilities and unconventional approaches to military problem-solving during a period of rapid technological and geopolitical change. Following his retirement from active duty, he became known for his writings and public discussions on intelligence, human potential, and alternative military research programs.
