Bring a touch of mid-century charm to your home with this beautiful vintage ceramic turtle figurine.
This piece is an excellent example of vintage studio or hobbyist pottery. It features an eye-catching, high-gloss drip glaze finish with pools of vibrant, metallic blue-green nestled inside a deep tortoiseshell brown shell. The turtle has a wonderfully expressive face and a classic textured design that adds character to any shelf, desk, or coastal-themed display.
The underside features two traditional firing vent holes and is clearly incised with the maker's mark "YP 131", identifying it as a vintage slip-casting mold from Yozie Plastics. It was purchased as greenware and beautifully hand-finished by an independent artisan, making it a unique collectible!
