Gossip Girl Psycho Killer manga by HyeKyung Baek, a complete 22-page standalone manga story printed as a free promotional giveaway for the 2011 novel.
This is a hard-to-find piece of Gossip Girl history. HyeKyung Baek, the Korean artist behind Yen Press\'s Gossip Girl: For Your Eyes Only manga series, drew this special short manga to promote Cecily von Ziegesar\'s Psycho Killer, the slasher reimagining of the original Gossip Girl in which Serena and Blair become Upper East Side serial killers.
Yen Press released the story exclusively in digital form through its app. It was never published as a standalone retail book and was never collected in the For Your Eyes Only volumes, so this free promotional printing is the way to own it in physical form.
The cover features Baek\'s blood-spattered artwork of the three girls in white and reads \"FREE Manga story inspired by the book!\" Inside, Serena returns to the Upper East Side with murder on her mind, with appearances by Nate Archibald and Eleanor Waldorf\'s autumn soiree.
Printed copyright page credits Adaptation and Illustration to HyeKyung Baek, copyright 2011 Alloy Entertainment and Cecily von Ziegesar, illustrations copyright 2011 Hachette Book Group, published by Yen Press. Promo code CS0020 printed on the cover.
Bonus on the reverse side: a free preview of the Psycho Killer novel, containing the opening pages only. This is not the full novel.
For Gossip Girl collectors, manga and Yen Press collectors, and 2000s YA fans.
