HEBREW UNIVERSITY MT. SCOPUS 1945 48 REPORT CARD SIGNED TUR SINAI
This is a personal Report Card which a Jewish student received during his Jewish Studies program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Mt Scopus during the 1945 academic year. It contains a listings of the various courses he too, the names of his professors AND THEIR SIGNATURES! So here are the names and signatures of the following professors that I found: Yitzchak Baer, Torzcyner, Hanoch Albeck, MD Cassuto, Frankel, Dinberg, Schwabe, Meisler, Klar, M Segal, Ben Chayim, Tur Sinai, and a couple others I couldn't read. Most of the above signed their names at least twice, some 3 or 4 times. These Prof wrote many books on various aspects of Judaic studies. The report card/booklet contains 18 pages. The report covers the academic years 1945 thru the summer of 1948, the year Israel was declared a State and also the year that Mt Scopus was off limits for studies as it became part of the occupying Jordanian terrorist army. This is a true piece of history!
