Very rare and unique item.
"HEERESEIGENTUM" is a German word meaning "property of the army"
This clock was previously owned by Konrad Knirim and is documented in his book "Military Timepieces - 150 Years of Watches and Clocks of the German Army" on page 94. The final photo in this listing is page 94 of said book, I'm aware it's poor quality but it's the best I could get, I don't personally own the book. The dial was swapped out since the clock was documented in the book but you can tell from the scuffs on the top right of the wood and the damage to the bottom right screw that it is in fact the same clock.
The clock is currently not functioning. I plan on ending this listing to get the clock fixed if it doesn't sell in the near future.
