This color guide is from the hard to find Marvel Masterworks 1st print run from 1989, which was the original printing of this story, and not from any later Masterworks. Legendary Marvel colorist Andy Yanchus was chosen to work on the original Masterworks 1st print editions including Volume #8 (Incredible Hulk #1-#6) from 1989 from which this page comes from. As well as the \"Marvel Masterworks\" & \"Incredible Hulk\" stamps at the top, it also features the \"Yanchus\" stamp at the bottom showing it\'s from the original Masterworks 1st print edition and not a later reprint.
The original 1962 color guides are not in existence. Nor is the original art from Hulk #1 from 1962. Nor are the few reprints they did of the story since then. This is the earliest/oldest surviving original anything from HULK #1!
