An exceptional vintage Catholic rosary by Hayward, crafted in sterling silver and featuring distinctive fluted Wedding Bell beads, substantial connecting links, an openwork Sacred Heart devotional center, and an unusually detailed figural crucifix.
The bell-shaped beads are particularly striking and remain remarkably crisp and well defined. Their dimensional construction and substantial links give this rosary a presence quite different from the more commonly encountered round-bead sterling rosaries.
The ornate crucifix features detailed figural work and INRI plaque. The crucifix shows more age-related surface coloration/patina than the remainder of the rosary, while the Wedding Bell beads themselves are exceptionally well preserved.
