This gorgeous Herkimer Diamond Quartz Natural Cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mines KOA Resort in Middleville, New York!
It consists primarily of a 0.96 inch long gem with about 9 smaller gems attached to one of the terminations, radiating outward in a sort of "flower" formation. It has excellent clarity and luster and features a black hydrocarbon "core" crystal in the center as well as light smoky phantoms and internal rainbows. There is also a small section of Black Druzy quartz in the center of the crystals which the cluster appears to have formed around. Sharp edges and terminations, with the exception of two which have very minor flaws. The surfaces of this specimen are in excellent condition overall, nearly a floater!
100% natural, no preparation or reconstruction. Mined by hand in the Spring of 2026.
