This beautiful porcelain creamer and covered sugar bowl set was made by Hutschenreuther Selb L.H.S. Bavaria, Germany, in the elegant “The Dundee” pattern. Hutschenreuther, one of Germany’s most renowned porcelain manufacturers, was founded in 1814 and became well known for its fine craftsmanship and timeless floral designs. “The Dundee” pattern features delicate pink roses with soft green leaves and graceful scalloped shapes trimmed in lustrous gold — a lovely example of classic mid-century Bavarian artistry.
The pieces are made of fine white porcelain with embossed curves along the base and rim, giving the set a refined silhouette. Both the creamer and sugar bowl handles are beautifully scrolled with gold accents, and the sugar bowl lid is topped with a round gold finial.
A charming addition to a vintage tea service or an elegant accent for display.
The creamer measures approximately 5 ¾″ wide (handle to spout), 3″ base diameter, and 4 ⅛″ tall. The sugar bowl measures 3 ¼″ at rim, 6 ¼″ wide including handles, 3 ⅜″ high without lid, and 5 ⅛″ tall with lid. Both pieces are marked on the underside: “Hutschenreuther Selb LHS Bavaria Germany.”
Condition is very nice with no chips or cracks. Light minor wear to the gold consistent with gentle use and age.
Carefully packaged for safe arrival.
