A richly decorated Japanese Imari style scallop shell dish in the traditional cobalt blue, iron red and gilt palette.
The moulded shell form echoes early English Regency shell wares, often associated with Coalport and other Imari revival porcelain, giving the piece strong decorative presence.
The gilding is bold and layered, contrasting beautifully against the deep cobalt ground.
A striking cabinet display piece that sits comfortably within maximalist or period-inspired interiors.

Posting I use recycled boxes and eco bubble wrap and brown paper I will pack well I do not charge for this - will combine postage - however this is combined on weight and size Items sent via a recorded Royal mail service. I will update when the item has been sent
