Description
Here we have a beautiful Bohemian green glass vase with applied glass feet decor and iridescent finish, from the late 19th century art nouveau period. Made by Kralik, the design is known as Honeycomb Panel. Similar items are shown on the Kralik website
Antique Kralik Honeycomb Panel Art Nouveau Iridescent Thorn Footed Glass Vase.
This is a Remarkable Studio Hand-Blown and Molded Turn-Of-The-Century Iridescent Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) Art Glass vase with a green patterned top and iridescent amethyst thorn tripod feet.
This delightful glass creation is a masterpiece of the glassmith's art and a wonderful piece of Early 20th Century decor.
The upper bowl of the vase is transparent iridescent green glass.
The base portion was actually blown separately from iridescent amethyst glass then applied to the underside of the bowl of the vase.
This unique combination gives the illusion of a textured blossom-like bowl that seems to grow above the table on a stem of thorny branches!
It was made by the Kralik Glass Company in the early years before Bohemia became Czechoslovakia in 1918
