LARGE Mexican Folk Art Putto? Guerrero? Carved Paint Cherub Angel 24\" H x 22\" W For Sale

Mexican Hand Carved Cherub StatueDetailsA large, hand carvedand painted Folk Art GuerreroMexico cherub statue or perhaps a Latin American Putto measuring a sizeable 24\"H x 22\"W. This wonderful and rare statue has such beautiful primitive appeal, nicely muted paint/dye and is sizable enoughto be the centerpiece of any room.Condition as shown. Structurally sound. There is a hairline crack where the wood was joined on the right wing. This crack goes through the gesso/paint but is NOT a structural fault (the joint is still strong). There is a hole in the hands that I believe was intended for a candle. The paint has wonderful patina, but does have some scuffs and light areas of loss.Condition:I strive to provide the most accurate descriptions and photos possible, because I WANT YOU TO BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE!Please review the photos carefully and the stated \"Condition Description\".If you are in doubt of anything, please contact me and I will promptly get you an answer!
