LOT OF 22— 1961 TOPPS CRAZY CARDS Gorgeous Wally Wood Art For Sale

This is a partial set of 22 total (Not 22 different as cards 3, 7, 11 & 18 have duplicates) Topps Crazy Cards from 1961, one of the most charming and under-appreciated non-sport sets of the entire postwar era. What makes these little gems so amazing is of course-Wally Wood, the master one of the most celebrated comic illustrators of the 20th century, best known for his work at EC Comics and Mad magazine and one of my personal favorites growing up. The front features a silly super colorful amazing boast like the first one "Brasher Brown had over 2500 fights!" and then when one turns over the card, you get the punchline in this case "2000 of them with his wife". All cards are in great shape, small rubs and blunted corners from being handled, but really pretty. Flat, no writing and a only a few small discoloration spots on the back of a few cards. The only defect I see is card 38-it looks like it was cut incorrectly at the factory. See pics as these are the cards you will receive. No rubber bands, but kept stacked flat in a plastic box from my personal collection.
