This museum-quality piece of indigenous folk art measures an impressive 20 inches tall by 14.5 inches wide, making it a phenomenal focal piece for any collection.The outer frame is masterfully constructed from a complete, authentic caribou jawbone (mandible), carefully joined to showcase a beautifully preserved, intact row of natural teeth along both sides.Suspended in the center is a serene ancestral spirit face hand-carved out of wood. The face is framed by a painted black, red, and white dotted border and ringed with a thick, magnificent ruff of authentic arctic animal fur. The back of the piece is stabilized with a wood brace and features a traditional native hide hanging cord attached directly through the jawbone joints, making it fully ready for wall display.Condition:
