Measures approximately 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide, much larger than a standard ornament.
Large vintage hand-painted mercury glass Christmas ornament, likely German or Czechoslovakian, circa 1920s-1950s. Pointed teardrop shape with three faceted panels in red, blue, and gold, each hand-painted with a different enamel flower (yellow, pink, and light blue). Silvered sections between the panels have an etched scale pattern. Original metal cap and wire hanger.
Condition: Antique and used, with age wear consistent with its era. Paint loss along one red panel edge, crackling and light flaking in the gold panel, and silvering wear and spotting on the cream sections. I see no cracks or chips, but please study the photos, which show all three sides, the cap, and the tip. Sold as is.
