Placing up for sale this glistening deep blue halite head-turner from my collection. From an old collection of blue halites from the old Kerr-McGee potash mine location near Carlsbad, New Mexico! This prime specimen from years ago was from a former employee of the mine. Crystal cubes like this beauty are the preferred choice for connoisseur mineral collectors. Dark sapphire translucent blue! The incredible blue is a result of millions of years exposure to the radioactive potassium chloride sylvite in which it formed. It will stand out in any collection! Measures 4.4 x 3.8 x 3.3 cm.
