A very substantial and heavy solid wood clock measuring approximately 73cm high x 47cm wide, with an ornate architectural-style case, decorative finial and large Roman numeral dial.
The clock is being sold as found and for restoration. It has not been fully tested and will require attention before use. There is also some trim/moulding missing, as can be seen clearly in the photographs, along with age-related wear, marks and general signs of long-term storage.
I am currently renovating an old furniture shop which we believe last opened in the 1980s, and this clock was among the items that had been left behind. It has therefore been stored for many years and is being offered exactly as found.
A very decorative and unusual piece with plenty of character, ideal for restoration, display or for someone interested in vintage electric clocks.
