Beautiful, glazed porcelain figurine by Lladró, model #5239 (also known as "El Venenciador" or The Wine Taster).
Designed by sculptor Francisco Catalá and issued in 1984, this retired piece (2002) depicts a traditional Spanish sherry venenciador in authentic Andalusian attire, skillfully pouring wine from a long Venecia into a glass held in his hand.
The figure stands approximately14.5 inches (37 cm)tall and showcases Lladró’s signature fine hand-painted details and elegant craftsmanship.
The figurine is in perfect condition. The box does have significant wear and tear.
