Lot of 3 Vintage 1940 Bruno of Hollywood Glamour Photos Anne Hudson 8x10 For Sale

Wonderful lot of three vintage black-and-white glamour photographs by Bruno of Hollywood, believed to date to around 1940.

All three photographs appear to feature the same woman in classic Hollywood glamour and performer-style poses. One photograph has a handwritten notation on the reverse identifying her as “Anne Hudson” along with “stage name” and an additional handwritten name that is difficult to decipher. The other two photographs do not have her name written on the reverse but carry Bruno of Hollywood markings/stamps and clearly appear to be from the same photographic session or portfolio.

The photographs include:

• Two glamorous head-and-shoulders studio portraits
• One striking full-length performer/pin-up style photograph
• Bruno of Hollywood photographer markings
• Bruno of Hollywood credit stamps on the reverse
• One photograph with handwritten 1940 identification
• Period publicity/studio photograph appeal

The identification and matching group make this an especially interesting small collection of Golden Age Hollywood-era glamour photography.

Each image measures approximately 8 x 10 inches and is currently displayed on backing board using clear photo corners. The photographs are not glued to the boards and are housed in protective plastic.

Condition

• Good vintage condition overall with expected age-related handling and storage wear. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition.
• One image has handwritten identification on the reverse. All three have Bruno of Hollywood markings or credit stamps. Mounted to backing boards using removable clear photo corners rather than adhesive.
• No foul or overwhelming odors detected. Housed in protective plastic.
