This lot of 4 vintage Scotland Curling Club pins are in overall very nice condition, with minor surface wear commensurate with age. Three have stamp mark on back Thomas Fattorini Ltd, Regent St, Birmingham and one is Fattorini & Sons Ltd, Bradford Works, Birmingham. These are beautifully crafted quality enamel and brass pins with colorful enamel including brooms\brushes and curling stones.

Thomas Fattorini Ltd was founded in 1827 by Antonio Fattorini, in Skipton, Yorkshire, as a goldsmithing and silversmithing company. During the First World War the company manufactured badges for the British armed forces. With the expanding trade in Skipton for medals and awards, the company opened its first factory in 1919 in Hockley street in the Jewellry Quarter Birmingham, England. In 1928 they moved into a purpose built Jewellry Factory on Regent Street and renamed the factory "Trafalgar Works". In this location the company established themselves as a manufacturer of vitreous enamel badges, medals and trophies such as the Lonsdale Belt and the FIFA Club World Cup which is considered to be one of the worlds finest football trophies.
In 1915 Fattorini & Sons, Ltd opened its own factory, The Bradford Works (later becoming known as Bradford House), Barr Street, Birmingham, England. By the 1920s, the company was making sports trophies and medals for the local and then national markets. In 1983, Thomas Fattorini Ltd acquired all the firms working under Fattorini & Sons Ltd.
