This is a lot of eight antique stereoview (stereograph) cards on orange and cream/yellow mounts, mostly sepia scenic views. Readable titles and imprints include Gates' Central New York and American Views by G.F. Gates (Watkins Glen and Havana Glen area), American Scenery, Mauch Chunk PA, and gorge and railway scenes. Printed backs describe the Georgetown Loop near Silver Plume and Georgetown, Colorado (marked no. 154) and the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Switzerland. The cards show age toning, soft corners, and general edge wear, and one cream card has a chipped top edge; several backs carry penciled prices such as 2.50 and 1.50. Sold as shown.
