For sale is a lovely matching pair of weighted sterling silver candlesticks with elegant cranberry cut to clear hurricane glass shades.
Circa 1940's 50's in age give or take.
The sterling silver bases in the empire style and having intricate reticulated bobeches. The bobeches are removable. The word Sterling being under the bobeches when unscrewed as well as on the bottom.
With the retailers mark of W.BELL & COMPANY - Rockville, MD Founded by Walter Bell in 1950 which began as a catalog store which retailed high-end decorative wares and antiques before expanding into many locations.
The glass shades being thin delicate glass shades in rich cranberry color with cut to clear floral and berry designs throughout.
A gorgeous set in overall fine condition.
Condition: Old tarnish surface mostly shined up. No chips or cracks in glass shades noticed. See All Pics.
