M. 1907 Spanish Mounted Artillery/Cavalry Sword & Scabbard For Sale

Spanish M1907 Puerto-Seguro sword (named after designer Captain Luis de Carvajal, Marquis of Puerto-Seguro ). This was the last model combat sword issued to the Spanish cavalry and saw use in North Africa and in the Spanish Civil War (1936-39). Sword measures 41-1/2\" in overall length. Blade meaures 35-1/4\". The leather blade washer is missing. Leather sword knot included, but not original to this piece.Blade is in really nice shape. Some pitting towards tip. Wood handle is in good condition. Handle and pommel are tight. Hand guard is a bit loose and dented. Black painted steel scabbard. Stamped Toledo. Scabbard has paint chips and dents.
