MCM Swedish Teak & Black Ceramic Canister By Akta Teak Ab Karl Holmberg For Sale

This is aMid-Century Modern Swedish teak & black ceramic canister by Akta Teak Karl Holmberg. The canister is made of black ceramic, decorated with 2 sets of yellow lines and the lid of warm shade of teak, making it a pleasing combination. There is a sticker under the lid with the maker\'s name and the bottom of the storage containerhas \"Made in Sweden\", and the numbers \"5862\"(?) impressed. The inside of the canister is the same yellow shade as the stripes outside. The canister is about 5 1/4\" tall, 5 1/2\" in diameter, it weighs about 1 lb 12 oz and has about 32 oz capacity. It is in a very good used condition - there is only a small hairline crack, which is about 1 1/2\" long (see photos #12, 13). The lid fits loosely. This canister is a great representation of the Mid-Century Modern design.
