This vintage real photo postcard features stage actress, Mrs. Jessie Jackson Houlston. She is in costume for her role as "Dora Tremaine" in "The Legend of Buhl". Note her elaborate "crown". I found very little information on the internet about this actress or the play she appeared in. In regard to the play, it was an English drama and was staged in 1927. The play may have also been performed at an earlier date. I found just one other Jessie Jackson Houlston postcard on line. The card featured her in another play.
