This is a beautiful, excellent example of arguably the most common pseudomorph/replacement seen on the market. Chatoyant, velvety malachite has formed after nicely formed, sharp crystals of azurite. The definition and form here is superb and you can clearly see the \"grain\" of the malachite as light flashes over each face. The malachite exhibits radial growth patterns on the replaced faces of the azurite and the deep green color is very attractive. This is a well crystallized, showy, nice-sized example of this classic from the famed Tsumeb Mine. In excellent condition.
