Doug Moench’s story and Bill Sienkiewicz’s art launch the character’s solo run. It is most noticeable toward the back of the book and gradually lessens toward the front; the photographed front interior page appears comparatively flat. Some lower page margins also have small wrinkles or marks. I cannot confirm the cause of the waviness, so I am describing what I can see rather than labeling it water damage.The bottom staple has rust. The front cover has reading and storage bends near the spine, light general handling wear, and small color-breaking bends near the bottom corner. Despite these flaws, the front cover retains an appealing overall appearance.
