The Medea Hotel and Bath House
Mt. Clemens, Michigan
This larger, antique souvenir pitcher is from the Medea Hotel and Bath House in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. According to my research, this hotel and mineral springs bath house was built in 1882 and located at 19 South Gratiot, near the corner of Cass Avenue. The building was demolished in 1991.
The pitcher stands 5 1/8" tall and is marked Made in Germany. There's a chip to the bottom of the pitcher, as well as some wear to the gold detailing. Otherwise, it's in very nice condition.
