A striking and highly unusual Abyssal Eroder sofubi by independent artist Muggle Croak.
This piece features an extremely dense, grotesque sculpt inspired by cosmic horror and Cthulhu-like imagery, with layers of organic forms, tentacles, eyes, exposed visceral textures, and ornate details throughout the figure.
The colorway is especially impressive, combining vivid magenta, purple and turquoise tones with metallic gold accents.
One of the most distinctive features is the separate organic sphere connected to the main body by a woven fiber/string element, adding a unique mixed-media component to the sculpture and giving the piece an even stranger, almost otherworldly appearance.
Despite its relatively compact proportions, the figure has a very substantial and heavy visual presence with an incredible amount of sculpted detail from every angle.
