Munktiki - Skull Monkey Tiki Mug - 2003 first edition Never Used For Sale

This is a Munktiki - Skull Monke tiki mug - 2003 first edition
• What you\'re looking at: ◦ Maker: MunkTiki, Astoria, Oregon. Hand-made slip-cast stoneware by Paul and Miles Nielsen. One of the most collectible modern tiki mug makers. ◦ Design: \"Skull Monke\" - a seated monkey with a skull head, holding a drink. The back says Skull Monke with the tail wrapped around the body. The bottom stamp you have is OTR MUNK TIKI 2003 ◦ OTR = Off The Record / early Munktiki numbering system from their early 2000-2004 period before they went to numbered limited editions. ◦ It\'s ceramic, not import resin - it\'s meant to drink out of, holds about 12-16oz.
It\'s not vintage 1960s Trader Vic\'s, it\'s modern tiki revival - 2003 is actually early for Munktiki, which makes it more collectible than their later import line.
