A real photo postcard showing the Süleymaniye Mosque overlooking the Golden Horn. The card was sent from Istanbul by Madeline to Miss Anna Riordan at 49 Winthrop Street Charlestown Massachusetts. The message describes Istanbul as a wonderful change after a week on a bus, and mentions plans to visit the Blue Mosque. Postmarked May 27 1947 with US Navy and 17020 stamps. Postmarked from NAVY, Fairfax County.
