Vintage 1988 Spitting Image “Sleeping Partner” Ronald & Nancy Reagan novelty slippers by Linden Cards & Gifts Inc.This is an especially nice surviving pair because the slippers appear to be unworn new old stock and remain attached together, with the original Spitting Image hang tag, novelty accessory/hat, and original plastic bag still present.The slippers feature caricature heads of President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan tucked into patriotic red, white, and blue beds. Each has a white pillow with a presidential-style eagle emblem, American flag-patterned bedding, and dimensional molded faces and hands.The original hang tag identifies them as “Sleeping Partner – Funfeet slippers from Linden” and is copyright dated 1988 Spitting Image Productions Ltd.
