NOS Vintage Klein Tools 44037 Sportsman Knife Japan Ebony Brass 5186 Sheath For Sale

New Old Stock / NOS vintage Klein Tools Model 44037 Sportsman folding knife, Japanese production, complete with its original Klein No. 5186 leather belt sheath.

This knife was acquired still enclosed in its original foil wrapper. The wrapper was removed to inspect, identify and photograph the knife. The knife has never been used or carried.

The blade is clearly stamped "KLEIN TOOLS, INC. JAPAN" on one side and "44037" on the opposite side.

Condition: New Old Stock / NOS and unused. This knife was removed from its original foil wrapper for inspection and photography. The blade retains its original factory finish and edge and shows no evidence of use or sharpening. The ebony handle scales are excellent with no cracks noted.

The solid brass bolsters show natural oxidation, patina and minor storage marks acquired while the knife was stored for many years. These are from age/storage rather than use and have intentionally not been polished away.

The original Klein No. 5186 leather sheath is included. The sheath remains in excellent unused vintage condition with minor age/storage effects, including oxidation/verdigris around some of the metal hardware.
