From the book:In \"Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind,\" many people can relate to Nausicaä\'s attitude of calmly observing a harsh world and seeking a way to follow. Personally, I had been aging my desire to immerse myself in that decayed sea world and observe it all the way through. So I enjoyed my work. By observing even slightly scary things, like the decayed sea and the Ohmu we created, I hoped to convey the joy of creating something and provide some inspiration. As I pursued naturalistic sculpting, I became aware of the frustration of not being able to reach my goal. But that\'s what makes it interesting. It makes me want to do more. In the beginning, I simply blew up my desire to make the exhibition space entirely decayed sea, thinking, \"There\'s no end to this,\" or \"What...CautionThe \"obi\", which is a paper belt, may or may not be attached depending on the availability at that time.
