Up for sale is a beautifully preserved piece of mid-century Japanese import pottery: a Norleans Japan Double-Handled Ceramic Vase featuring an exquisite, highly tactile raised 3D relief scene on both sides.

Unique Dual-Sided Design:

• Side A: Features a hand-painted scene depicting a Mother and Daughter standing outdoors with colorful red and yellow attire.

• Side B: Features an embossed nautical scene highlighting a vintage steamship/sailing vessel traversing the water.

Measurements & Specifications:

• Height: Approx. 6.75" to 7" tall

• Top Outer Rim Diameter: Approx. 3.5"

• Finish: Matte earthy brown/bronze glaze with multi-color painted relief detailing and structural geometric accent bands around the upper neck.

Condition Report:

Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. There are no chips, cracks, or restorations evident on the body, handles, or rim. The paint and glaze show great color stability with minor age-appropriate shelf wear on the unglazed base. Crucially, the original pink and silver Norleans Japan foil label remains firmly attached to the bottom.
