Early Soviet Deering Sickle Scythe Blade Sharpener Grinder Old Factory Farm Industrial Collectible Tool Farm Decor Cast Iron Heavy Gear
This rare mechanical sharpener tool is made of cast iron, very heavy and quality iron, the handle is made of wood. Very heavy, very cast and tough like the life was in USSR!
This tool issued in famous Russian factory established in 1776! It was made era in USSR probably in about 1940, it was a time when tools were made from the word «QUALITY»!
Very beautiful design with embossed factory name! Looks like some kind of hell machine :)
I sell it as design decoration item for your country house, restaurant, rancho, workshop, museum or any other special place, so I have not cleaned it up, it looks like you need to oil it and then try to spin, at the moment it does not spin. It has some crack on the bottom which is not from wheels or handle on any other machanical part, looks like it was a mount, so it does not interfere this tool to work, with this crack this cast irone machine looks even more cool looking. However, if you fix it, you can us it as original purposes.
