The thick blue vein is heavily silicated and acts just like glass/quartz. It features a hard, solid structure that will hold a great polish and will not crumble or undercut during the cabbing process.
Translucency: Under a bright light, the glassy blue vein shows an exquisite, gemmy translucent glow along its edges (as pictured!).
