Beautiful old-stock Blue Mountain specimen with a polished face and natural rough matrix around the exterior. This piece has an especially interesting combination of classic Blue Mountain features, including large sweeping orbicular formations, blue-green/teal areas, creamy tan and olive tones, fine contrasting lines, and areas of dendritic patterning.The large rounded orb dominating the face gives this piece a fantastic focal point, while the surrounding layers and smaller formations create a lot of depth. One side also displays striking dark dendrites against the lighter matrix. At 535 grams (approximately 1.18 lbs), this is a substantial specimen that would make an excellent display piece or addition to a serious Blue Mountain collection.The polished face is approximately 4 inches across at its widest point.
