I have not found a date on this estate found prayer book and I believe it to date to 1900 - 1930. The cover is lovely with some age appropriate wear and soiling. Hand painted flowers create a lovely backdrop for the mother of pearl embellishments. It\'s tiny flower may be an edelweiss. At 3-7/8\'\' x 2-7/5\'\' this tiny prayer book will make a lovely spiritual touch to your bed side night stand. This German Prayer Book starts out with Mein Herr Und Mein Gott which translates to You Are My God You Are Great. It retains it\'s clasp embellished with mother of pearl and gilded pages. Age appropriate wear with some soiling.
