Vintage Original 1959 Squirt Soda Heavy Cardstock Advertising Sign – "thirsty? drink Squirt"
Up for sale is a beautiful, 100% original vintage Squirt Soda heavy cardstock advertising sign. This is an authentic piece of mid-century soda ephemera, not a reproduction. It features the iconic, vibrant graphics of the classic "Lil' Squirt" mascot holding a green glass bottle next to the bold "thirsty? drink Squirt" text.
The bottom left corner features the crisp, original factory date and manufacturer code: MCA 3-5-59, dating this exact piece to March 5, 1959. Cardboard signs from this era are incredibly tough to find in nice condition because most were thrown away or suffered water damage over the last 60+ years.
Condition Details:
Authenticity: Old and original vintage store stock.
Dimensions: Approximately 26" wide by 20" tall (please see photos with measuring tape for exact dimensions).
Front Graphics: Outstanding, bright colors with minimal fading. The red, green, and bright yellow-orange text and illustrations present perfectly.
Cardstock State: Structurally solid and heavy. It currently sits inside a protective plastic wrap on a backing board, keeping it perfectly flat and preserved for shipping.
Wear: Shows only minor, expected edge/corner wear and light aging spots typical for authentic 1950s paper and cardstock advertising, which adds to its vintage character.
