A LATER TYPE LEVER CAP FOR for a Stanley No. 113 circular plane by STANLEY. Stanley changed the design of the cap in the first quarter of the Twentieth Century to use a lever cap, rather than a screw lock cap. The underside of the cap is cast with the designation "C", most likely for "circular". The keyhole opening is just a bit less than 1/4" further up the face of the cap than on a No. 3 size plane to accommodate the different geometry of a circular plane. Length = 5.50 Inches (Ref.
