The archival text details the industrial scale of the project, noting that the Lilleshall Co. Ltd. of Britain supplied 415 tons of prefabricated steel for the power station's construction. It documents the involved engineering firms—including mechanical and electrical engineers Preece, Cardew & Rider of London, and consultant engineers Fawcett, Walton and Bell of London—stating that upon completion before the end of 1964, the station would generate the electricity supply for the entire Freetown area.
