These Hand Bag Covers are of PARAMOUNT PICTURES LADIES WARDROBE DEPT stock. In the year 1944 Paramount produced two (2) films with the support and full cooperation of the United States Navy; Naval Reserve and the WAVEs in the making of HERE COME THE WAVES and THE NAVY WAY. Thus most all the I CORPS stock of WAVE items have an original 1940s PARAMOUNT label and or PARAMOUNT PICTURES ink stamp.
PARAMOUNT PICTURES @ 5555 Melrose Ave. in Hollywood California made patriotic war films from 1920 to 1949.
